Bosnian lawyer Mirnes Ajanović offered a solution on how Serbia should fight for Novak Đoković

English version:

Bosnian lawyer and human rights activist in BiH Mirnes Ajanovic analyzes the situation in which Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic found himself, the inadequate reaction of the Serbian authorities whose citizen Djokovic is a citizen, legal and political aspects of persecution and extremely discriminatory behavior of Australian authorities. The interview with Mirnes Ajanović about democracy was published in its entirety on the Srpska prica channel on January 13, 2022.

What is the cause of the dispute over Novak Djokovic’s participation in the tournament in Australia?

Novak’s medical decision was not disputable, because he had a valid medical exemption for receiving the vaccine, and that was confirmed by the Australian court. Therefore, the legal decision is not disputable either. It is a disputable circumstance that the Minister of Immigration, despite the court’s decision, can order deportation, so it is clear that this is a political decision.

In such circumstances, the legal team had to act unconventionally, because in a state of political decision it must act not only legally but also politically and include maximum politics, demanding that the President of Serbia send a protest note to the Australian authorities. it is, after all, the obligation of all representatives of all states to protect their citizens. He was obliged to ask the President of Serbia for help from friendly countries to send a protest note to the Australian authorities, especially the Governor General.

It was necessary to publicly ask all countries whose competitors participate in the tournament to boycott the tournament, when the competitors did not remember to show solidarity with a colleague or did not want to, because sport requires fair play and the right of everyone who has acquired sports conditions to compete. The President of Serbia had to act by sending a protest note to the United Nations, due to the violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Dakle, time nije sporna ni pravna odluka.
